Torres was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He loves documentaries, action movies, music, and traveling. Torres is very passionate about his career as well as social issues such as gun violence, bullying, racism, and homelessness.

Luis Torres is a photojournalist and technical director. He’s very business-oriented and a true goal-getter. In 2012 Torres left his home state of New Jersey to conquer new horizons in California. In his first year on the west coast, he scored a position as a photojournalist at Liberman Broadcasting (KRCA-Estrella TV), a small news station in Burbank, CA., where he worked for 4 years and grew passionate about journalism.
After living in California for 7 years Torres decided to move back to New Jersey in November of 2019, a year later after moving back he scored his next opportunity as a photojournalist and technical director at WXTV-Univision 41 in New York, a renowned Spanish-language television network.
Aside from his full-time job, Torres spends most of his time running his video production company, which focuses on developing creative video content for small businesses.
Torres is now settled in New Jersey and is ready to showcase his many multimedia talents in the television industry while also showcasing his versatile vision and ability to create engaging content in the creative world.
